The disease of the band of vultures
Starts within from the faint of hope
Giving in to the veiled imploring
this way, look this way
we keep buying it, we keep buying it, we keep buying it
we keep buying it
Everywhere, all around they’re pushing
Breaking in, disguised in gold
playing the voice of sanity and control
they always say
Quiet down, shut your mouth you might shake something
keep what you need, what you bleed from the light of day
“It’s ok,” to look the other way
“It’s ok,” to keep your mind at bay
…But it’s not right
So will you
come alive
if all around you
it’s out of sight & out of mind?
don’t follow that road, there’s no hope
so will you
come alive, come alive?
We all have a choice
stay quiet or lose our voices
they always say
Quiet down, shut your mouth you might shake something
keep what you need, what you bleed from the light of day
“It’s ok,” to look the other way
“It’s ok,” to keep your mind at bay
It’s not right
So will you
come alive
if all around you
it’s out of sight & out of mind?
don’t follow that road, there’s no hope
so will you
come alive, come alive?
We are the sickness within the culture
of keeping peace within fallacies
around the world, you can hear the vultures
circling their own prophecy
they will destroy, destroy (live a lie)
they will destroy, destroy
So will you
come alive
if all around you
it’s out of sight & out of mind?
don’t follow that road, there’s no hope
so will you
come alive, come alive?
Like the previous album, the music's atmosphere is thick, hanging in the air like oppressive humidity, electric guitars busily buzzing away, led by tasteful yet pounding drumwork.
And, just like the last album, despite having music that could easily be droning nonsense, the band decided to be a cut above almost every other band by actually having beautiful, captivating melodies from end to end.
Almost every song is a winner. If you like Air, you'll like this one. Highly recommended. Selrisitai
These guy's love the Devin townsend's Epic sound Which sounds as if its from another reality, And they make their own Hyper yet drifting Similar to seeing a comet whizzing by the atmosphere. A joy to witness but over, As soon as the majesty of it all sinks in! John Chaos Alexander
The UK upstarts' debut veers from sunny, psychedelic folk to bristling post-punk with reckless abandon without ever missing a beat. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 18, 2024
Hopscotching from jangle pop and post-hardcore to math rock and shoegaze, these Minnesota rockers have a gift for musical multitasking. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 29, 2024
Nonstop originality, virtuosic playing, ferocious and live energy. The passion is palpable, the songs feel unpredictable, a sincere sonic wilderness. Grandiose without pretension, chaotic without sloppiness. Singular in its vision. Moon Tooth are coming for the crown. Bruce Pandolfo
